Union soldiers in Orland

Union soldiers in Orland

About a dozen Civil War re-enactors march along the Castine Road recently in Orland between their overnight in a field to the second night in the woods. Each man was supposed to carry everything a soldier would need for himself. For example: a bedroll, rifle, ax, cast iron fry pan, water. Officer in charge of the encampment was Matthew Bray of Brunswick.
