Everyone’s welcome at the Castine Visitors Center!
Ranger, a papillon, was the 5,000th visitor of the season at the Castine Visitors Center on September 22. Ranger is from Centerville, Ohio, and has been traveling around Maine with his family. He recently completed the Bark Ranger program at Acadia National Park before coming to Castine. He was greeted by Casey and Cole, the children of Visitors Center director Alyssa Radcliff. The center will close for the season after Columbus Day and reopen next Memorial Day weekend.
