Frigid temperatures and icy winds brought a special winter visitor to David and Rosemary Wyman’s Hatch Cove dooryard Thursday morning. The handsome barred owl first perched on a truck, then flew to a porch railing to rest in the sun and out of the wind. Comfortable there, it settled in to sleep for several hours. It was gone by mid-afternoon.
