Art Lab at Witherle Memorial Library

With canvases, paints, brushes and other supplies on hand, youth of all ages let their imaginations run wild on December 26 and 28 during Art Lab—two days of drop-in painting at the children’s room at Witherle Memorial Library. The art show opened on Saturday, December 29, but the works will continue to be displayed through the new year. Funded by the Castine Arts Association, the program proved to be one of the biggest draws of the year, said children’s librarian Jessica Rollerson, with over 40 young artists and their family and friends attending the art show representing the works of over a dozen young artists.
