In blizzard’s wake, much clean up—and snowy roads

What some have called an historic blizzard delivered as advertised, with record-breaking snowfall in parts of southern Maine and for some coastal areas. Castine and Penobscot saw nearly two feet of snow fall between the evening of Friday, February 8, and Saturday afternoon, with drifts rising close to three feet. By Sunday, the sun was shining and the cleanup began in earnest.
